I'm just going to pick up a cab at the airport Ben, they must be pretty used to taking people with bikes to hotels.

Nice one Ben :D

Marek and I booked the transfer, more for convenience than anything else. I don't imagine there will be much in it either way.

Cabs at the airport are plentiful and are all used to taking bikes; lots of them are estate cars or people carriers. The drivers do tend to mutter under their breath if they have to fold the back seats down though. From memory it's about 30 Euros each way.

Anybody have any recommendations for Bike Bags ? Also anybody used this Hotel before, i.e do they do laundry ? As it's just occurred to me that I don't have x6 cycling shorts and wearing them inside out for additional days won't work, for this particular garment.

[quote="thePinkDreamMachine"]over a socialable beer,

I believe that is the correct pronunciation after about three of them.
Afer a couple more it becomes socialabububle.

I'd recommend the one I'm flogging in the "Marketplace" section.

They do laundry, but it'll cost you an arm and a leg. All you need is two lots of kit. When you get back from a ride just go in the shower wearing your kit and wash it as you take it off. Then roll it up in a towel, wring the towel and the kit comes out 90% dry. Then just hang it up in the room (or on the balcony if it's warm) to fully dry out. You could actually get away with wearing the same kit all week using this method, but two sets is better so people don't assume you haven't changed all week. And it leaves a bit of leeway in case it doesn't dry fully overnight.

I have a Tifosi padded bike bag with wheels if you want to borrow, incl. wheelbags and spacers for the dropouts. Take pedals, rear mech, seatpost, bars and forks (preferably) off and fit a few clothes in for extra padding.

I'm still keen on coming but it is dependent on a work project, so will have to decide a bit nearer the time.

I've booked my flights now, and will be joined after the weekend by The Good MrsI and Little MissI.

Is anyone else getting the early flight on the 1st?

We'll get an apartment from the 6th, but if anyone's interested in sharing up to then, drop me a pm.
