How windy was it?

Set off with the training group, did to much work on the front though felt strong till I fell off the back with Nick. Waited up for the 19's and had a quiet ride in admiring Dels new wheels. No T&O today. Alan M did his usual long way out attack for the sprint and was going well till Serge deceided to reel him back in. Once past Alan I was just taking it easy to the line when Serge had a sudden burst of speed and tried to come past me...why the cheek of it, soon put him in his place though had to give it some effort, nice try dude, so nearly got me :D

Run back was a bit easier, I'd recovered well thanks to a large piece of chocolate cake but deceided on a fairly easy ride back in the group which was admirably led by Alan M a large chunk of the time who was going well today. My easy ride lasted till the top of the Merstham drag where I launched a stinging attack and just got my head down and kept going. Steve B came past me to help keep the pace high till he faded slighlty giving me the chance to go round him and get the hammer down again. The only other person I saw was George as we battled it out together back torwards CSS, shame about the traffic spoiling our fun :D All I need to do is ride that well for 10 miles and I'd put in a pretty solid time in a TT

Not out next weekend so have a good one in my absence.

Cheers.

Yeah yeah Ant thats enough of the larging it up with yet another 19mph Charlwood sprint win. You're now supposed to be chilling with the Big Dawgs so what happened? Why the testosterone rush at the beginning? :?

I felt fine from the off Toks, really strong and was happy with the way I was going but just over did it a little by doing a huge turn on the front before pulling over and trying to get some one other than Paul or Rob to do some work. George hit the front and dragged the speed up, I got dropped once but egged on my Nick powered my way back to the group but then dropped off again shortly after. Can't do with just sitting in a group anymore, I like to get to the front and give it some big efforts.

Im happy hanging with the 19's, with the little amount of riding I do its where I belong

Howdy folks,

I have a big thank you to pass on to the ACCers from Evil, she came out on her first CR ever. She had a bit of a downer as she was expecting to see smiley John at the helm.

But fair play she had a go and done it, So thank to the likes of Tim, Graham and Marco for being very patient and helpfull.

The comment Evil came out with on Sunday was 'My legs don't even ache, so I must try harder next week'.

Better start saving for Majorca then!!!!

(PS the bloody 'DUE TO' letter comes out again on Friday 9th)

All the best, Marky Mark :D
