I think the colours are fine. Bright, warm and welcoming.

What kind of training are you doing? racking up steady miles, tempo, is it power tap monitored; heart rate governed, is it by feel (perceived exertion) intervals etc

Good report Adam.

<pedant mode on> Did you really mean that when the weather deteriorated you overheated (hyperthermia)? Or did you mean your core temperature dropped too much (hypothermia). The difference is important.
<pedant mode off>

Is there a way of posting comments to your reports without having one of the listed (blog) account types?

Good luck with your endeavours. I really do hope to read of great successes next year.

Right you are, I didn't know that!

Erm, I'm not sure to be honest, I'll have a look. I think you need a google account though.

No power, there is not a budget to allow for that I'm affraid. Mainly my road mileage has been between 65-75% of my HRmax, my two turbo sessions per week are pretty simple affairs at the moment. One designed to improve pedalling efficiency, and another to improve strength. This week is a rest week for me, approx half of thr normal hours (handy, since I've had the cold!), next week I'll be racking up the hours beyond the 20 hour mark I should expect...

I'll be interested to see how you get on with the new bike. I looked at Flanders bikes a when I bought my GB as I liked the classic styling of the aluminium frames, and them being something a bit different also appealed. Although unlike you I don't have long legs the frames seemed to have quite long top tubes for the frame size at the time which made them unsuitable for me. Hopefully you'll get yourself sorted with a good 'un as they are nice machines.
