...is currently closed for "major refurbishments", it's also under new management.

Hopefully it won't change much as it was a cracking place, doubt it will get poncy due to the lake/fishing customers being a fair chunck of their trade I'd imagine. Perhaps just a redecoration, new cookers and the like.

Not sure when it will reopen as I couldn't see that it said on the notice, but there was a sign mentioning Christmas dinners so can't be that long. Just a bit of a pain that it didn't say by the road as the bike got fairly filthy riding/cyclo-crossing up the drive to find out that my bacon sarnie and mug of tea wasn't going to happen after all.
