Iphone

I have put off getting one of these for some time, but..... I have succumbed It's coming tomorrow :D :D :D :D I waited for Vodafone as I believed this is the best network.

I can't wait I won't be able to sleep tonight. This will be some recompense for not cycling regularly due to this blasted snow.

Any recommendations for apps :?: IS there an ACC app :?:

Have had to end it back. Cannot get a 3G signal in Caterham on the Hill. The ordinary signal is quite poor also. Should have known this as Blackberry storm was very poor also.
So maybe Vodafone isn't the best network as they told me. Ah well may go for 02.

I'm on O2 and decided to upgrade a couple of month's back.
Couldn't justify spending £90 and then £35 a month on the I Phone so opted for the Palm Pre instead.

I'm really really pleased with it. Email sync is good and web browsing is really fast on wifi and acceptable on normal network.

I hardly ever get 3G anywhere so don't worry much about it!

Just a tip, dont search the word "cycle" in the Apps store.

It brings up about 300 results about iPeriod and iMonthly and TAMPONCALCULATOR+.... not the kind of cycle i was thinking of!

Nightmare trying to return the iphone. I have now waited in two days for it to be collected and no one has turned up :x I think Vodafone has underestimated the large number of subsribers who'd want to return the phones because they can't get a signal.

I fell for the advertising which said we have the best 3G and network coverage. Having read the doc from Lockey's link this is far from true. You would think I am old enough not to trust all adverts. Even my 7 year old daughter knows not to trust what she reads are sees. She told my wife that the company which advertises her anti-wrinkle cream are lying as it doesn't work.
