2010 Winter Olympics

Alpine skiing (the women's DH last night was bonkers, some nasty-looking falls)
Cross-country skiing (men's and women's sprint last night was awesome, 3"30 all-out effort)
I've taken to the boarder cross, some nice skills in there
and I'll watch luge/bob/ski jump if it's on at a convenient time
But i HATE skating! (other than the races)

Why isn't cyclo-cross in the winter olympics? It is a winter sport after all.

funny you should say that, i was going to mention it after reading this today (in French - suggestion to include cross-country & cyclo-cross)

This year's World CX Champs would have qualified Sean .

I like a lot of the sports: speed skating (short and long track), alpine skiing (yes that was a bit mad last night wasn't it), luge/bob/skeleton can be good for nutter watching, but I'm really enjoying the biathlon and cross country skiing. The sprint was great last night and they don't exactly get much of a breather between rounds do they . I really fancy having a go at cross country skiing.

I'd read about that somewhere but didn't realised he'd tested them on an ice rink .

I'm not sure if you can still catch the race online anywhere, I caught it live on cyclingfans.com, but it was entertaining to watch. Some great bike handling, but Sven's spikes wouldn't have helped him a couple of laps from the end when he fell over running up the stairs carryig his bike.

I quite enjoyed the womens snowboarding the other night, that luge/bob sledge run cost 120 million (dollars or pounds, not sure which) to build!!!

enough of the frigging curling!!! at least there was a decent bit of classic xc last night on tv, good finale to the 4 x relay. looked a bit like a cycle race.
