if you *really* want one and have the cash spare, looks like a good deal there.

although have you thought about renting one for a bit to see how you get on with it and whether you think it's worth it?

yes you'll b able to just use an equivalent uk dc power adapter. alternatively you could use a cheap us-uk 110v half wave convertor.

I don't know how many folk who bought powermeters use them regularly, but I'd have thought that for the investment required the rental route makes sense to try before you buy. Rent for a month and see how it goes, you may be able to negotiate a deal if you buy from the place you rent from, i.e. could you buy yours at an ex-rental price.

I can think of other ways I'd rather spend £650 or so.

In fact, as there are only 7 cases (6 bottles per case) left, I may have to buy a couple of cases at least pretty quick sharp.
