the knee is neither new or improved, its just been prodded and poked around some more and then given a puzzled expression.
I will be at Herne Hill on wednesday, getting my arse kicked as usual.
Turn up around 6.30/6.45, get signed in and on the track for the warm up.
racing starts at 7, and they are very finicky on timing.
if you havent used your new bike yet on track i recon best to turn up with plenty of time and give it a bit of a test on track with no one around you. also a good idea if you havent ridden track for a while to get familiarised with the etiquette again. theres been some really crap riding from people who havent ridden track in a while and forget to signal or panic and kick back etc etc.
so to save yourself from being put in the fence or on the grass i recon its a good idea to try and blend in and not make enemies straight away.
Im using 86/88 depending on how windy it is, Bryan uses anything from 88 to 90 something. but its generally a secret thing and not talked about.
most of the fellas there use 88- 92
88 is good for the devil and points races as you need to be able to accelerate quickly. 90-92 is good for persuit and time trial type races.
see you on wednesday.
