Driving test passed!!

Postby kieran » Wed Jun 30, 2010 2:53 pm

Just thought I'd share my relief at having passed my driving test yesterday! :D Now all I need is access to a car, which we don't have :( , as we are trying out streetcar and you needs to have held a full driving license for at least a year before you can crash their cars. I will not miss spending all that money on lessons etc and can divert it to pay the huge gas bill we will be getting soon, as after about a year of under-estimated gas readings, and given the winter and spring we had, we are due a reckoning with Southern Electric. :( :(

Well done, glad I passed when I did as I think it costs a fortune now with all the various bits you do.

Well done Kieran.

I would recommend keeping the momentum going and getting a car asap.
I passed my test when I was 17 but didn't drive for 2 months afterwards. I was nervous wreck when I did  Long time ago now.
Take it in test conditions you were going slower than Hog Hill the other day ?

kept it nice and steady except on a bit of dual carriageway where I got it all the way up to 40mph, vroom! vroom!. I probably did the slowest reverse around a sweeping corner , I would have been faster getting out and pushing the car around it.

I'd better not give you the data on my driving lessons and test (in 1958) as you would all be so pi**ed of to learn how little it cost !!!

What did you have to do for the test? I believe they are thinking of adding to the test yet again!
