Due to technical issues I cant get the Digest out this week. Also cos my Laptop was nicked my separate MTB list for the MTB digest is no more so please send me mail at domlongman@dsl.pipex.com with 'NO MTB PLEASE' in the subject if you dont want to receive MTB info so I can create another MTB list.

Anyway here are the usual details about whats going on:

1) ROAD RIDE: Contact Alex on mailto:protasiuk@yahoo.com
The best regular ride in the country meets at Coulsdon South BR Station from 9am and heads out in 5 or 6 groups for a little meander to Charlwood near Gatwick. Expect around 50 fellow Addiscombe members and prospective members and a great ambience. Full details are here http://www.addiscombe.org/members/phpBB ... .php?t=651

2) SUNDAY LADIES RIDE: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/accladies/
The weekly Sunday ladies ride normally heads out from Coulsdon SouthStation at 10am for 10.15 taking in an easy route designed to encourage complete beginners into cycling. Check the accladies group for more details or email jayne at miss.moneypenny@ukgateway.net . These rides have been generating some excellent feedback and with a new beginner turning up every week they just keep on growing. CHECK THE YAHOO GROUP FIRST BEFORE TURNING UP - If you are a new rider and are concerned about starting off even more gently than the Saturday rides then please email our coach Jayne on the above address who will be able to sort something out for you on either the ladies rides or at the dedicated traffic free circuit at hillingdon. If you are one of the new women either in the club or interested in finding out more about cycling then email jayne so she can include you in all the special WOMENS DAYS that are coming up.

3) SUNDAY RIDES
Sunday road rides are now happening for intermediate level riders and above. details here: http://www.addiscombe.org/members/phpBB ... .php?t=798 . If you are a beginner and you deperately want to get out on a Sunday then maybe you'd want to get in touch with our friends at the CTC (most of the local group are all in ACC as well) - mailto:keithwwawman@btinternet.com
or email jayne about the womens' rides .

5) NOVICE TRACK DAY: mailto:Simon.Johnson@rbkc.gov.uk
Hi everyone,I am organising a Novice track day down at Herne Hill Velodrome, which will be open to all novice and regular trackies. (although the more novices we get the better) I have got a date of the 13th June, which is not a definite so If anyone knows with an event this may clash with, please let me know ASAP The session will be coached by Russell Williams who some of you already know and this maybe the last year we get the opportunity to be coached by Russell. So make the most of it The Velodrome has 40 track bikes for hire so don't worry if you don't own one. It should be a great day and if you've never ridden a fixed wheel before and would like to, or just want an excuse to get your track bike out the shed, then please let me know. Cheers Simon J

8) BOTTLES AND SOCKS:
Addiscombe branded bottles and socks are now in Geoffrey Butlers Cycles in South Croydon. Many thanks to Monty and co for getting this sorted.

9)BEASTWAY: mailto:sgarde@clsholdings.com
Still going strong into its 11th year, Wednesday night sees the return of the best mtb race series in the country. Entry is only a tenner, less if you are proper skint or free if you help with the course building! The club has riders of every level in it and its a good way to meet up with other riders from all over London. Full details are here http://londoncyclesport.com/news_2004/beastway_mtb.html
