Nice long valves and at this price almost not worth patching, although i shall be road testing a patched one on Saturday's CR

A patched one expired for me on Monday on Herne Hill Velodrome. The slide was a little scary.

I Jewish / Scottish / West Indian heritage meant I did consider patching it until I came to my senses and put it in the bin.

Most definitely won't be riding a patched tube on track again :(

I patched mine with a glued patch - the ones with yellow edges, let it dry overnight then fitted it, pumped it to 120 and went for a brief spin, all weight on the bum and stayed sitting for speed bumps. I figured the pressure against the inside of the tyre casing would help keep it fixed. That was Monday and it still seems to be at the same pressure.
MTB has soft kevlar panaracer flataway strips and hasn't flatted since 2006.

Only if they've been formally introduced to each other before its demise; no point getting all choked up over an inner tube he didn't even know.

I'm hoping there'll be the usual ACC gathering at the side of the road, watching me change it, offering advice.

Patched tube held up on CR, even on the arse-jarring excuse for roads we have to ride on. of course now i've jinxed it and it'll probably burst on my next fast descent.

Still on special at the mighty Evans.
Just done around 400 miles on this patched tube, May Flyer, Pearson 150, Dragon and a couple of CRs.
Still going strong.
Definitely jinxed it now.
