Have learnt that I need to have insurance to ride at club :oops: , can any members please advise me where to go :? . Prefer On-line company if possible but if not never mind.

Gold or silver membership of BCF should be sufficient.

I think this is something that might be usefull to put as part of the membership form for new members, as when I first started I had no idea where to get insurance from or, even what kind i needed.
maybe have a sticky thread of useful links to places such as CTC, BCF etc etc. with a simple explanation of what each organisation does.

As Jayne says, BC Silver/Gold membership will suffice. As they are very much cycling specific and have specialist knowledge, I think it makes sense to go along with that. Additionally, if you decide to race (other than time trials), you will need the membership and may end up paying twice.
