Just a reminder that the bike marking team will be at the pine cafe from about 10.30 on Saturday. :D

...and if you fancy a longer ride then 7 ACC are racing at Oakwoodhill near Ockley in the SCCU Sporting 10, first rider off at 2pm.

Terri from Croydon police - safer neighbourhoods - smiles in satisfaction after just finishing marking my pride and joy. :D

They managed to do 14 bikes in the hour or so they were there. Very professional I must say, looks good and it's free! They'll be back for more soon. Watch this space. 8)

How do they mark the bikes? I presume it's some kind of super strong resin and label or smart water? Can't quite tell from the pictures. I am thinking of getting my bikes done after the recent excitement of an attempted burglary. The only items of any value in my house are bikes (and my collection of old underpants)...

The Cycle Marking used is a Silver-grade BikeRegister mark, worth £14.95 RRP. It includes:

Database Registration of your bike
A secure online account
A tough warning label to deter thieves from attempting to steal a marked bike
Online Logbook
Permanently Etched BikeRegister ID
