Budding Film Makers???

Postby Jon C C on a Bianchi » Wed Apr 11, 2012 11:37 am

I know there are a few ACC film makers out there. I received this through the website - looks interesting. Jon

Good Afternoon,

I am working on a short film project called 'Made in Mole Valley' which is centred around the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games celebrating local culture and heritage.

The Made In Mole Valley project is inviting budding film-makers to submit three to five minute short films, that feature Mole Valley, with a 2012 Games-inspired theme.

A panel of judges will be appointed to select the best films which will be featured on the Mole Valley District Council website and other websites, including YouTube.

The winning films may also be featured on big screens in Mole Valley during the Olympic Cycling Road Race weekend. Films may be submitted from 1 October 2011 to 31 May 2012..

As Cycle Clubs that take on the challenging heights of Box Hill I would like to extend an invitation to submit a three to five minute short film that celebrates the cycling community and its active participation in the culture and heritage of Mole Valley, and in particular Box Hill, which will play a major part in the upcoming Olympic Cycle Race.

Films can be documentary, animation, fiction, narrative, experimental, music video, photo montage or any other types.

They can be filmed in a variety of mediums, for example mobile phones, digital camera, webcams, camcorders or professional film equipment.

Videos can be uploaded onto youtube for viewing or sent over email for uploading to our dedicated youtube page

Further information can be found at our website http://www.molevalley.gov.uk/index.cfm?articleid=12376

If you have any further questions please get in touch, i look forward to hearing from you

Kind Regards
