This is the premier event of the ACC calendar where we celebrate the Club achievements of 2012, eat, talk and have a great time (the same as we do on the club run but longer and with food and alcohol!). It is always a great evening, partners and family are always welcome.

We have managed to hold the price the same as last year - £34 which includes a Bucks Fizz welcome drink, a three course meal and coffee. :D

The location is at the Selsdon Park Hotel which is a glamorous setting and we have always had a great time there (check with other members who have been previously what it is like). We have also negotiated a block of 10 rooms on a B&B basis at a reasonable £69 for a single and £89 for a double. This gives you access to all the hotels facilities so why not make a weekend of it. Book directly with the hotel stating that you are with the Addiscombe; this is on a first come first served basis.

New for this year we are introducing “buy your table”, the idea is that you get together a group of friends buy your tickets and reserve a table, therefore ensuring that you sit together and avoid the rush at the start. We have table sizes for 8, 9 and 10 persons. Think whether you can get enough people together to form a group, get the tickets and let me know. I will reserve a table for you; we do have a limited number of tables so get in quick.

Tickets will be available from Joyce Smith at the Café in Charlwood or contact Tim Coales.

this http://www.groupon.co.uk/deals/surrey may make some partners happier to accompany you to the presentation evening, The offer means you get a bottle of bubbly and either a treatment in the spa or a round of golf for just £10 on top of the price you would have paid for the room at the Addiscome rate

They had availability when I rang this afternoon and booked. Worth checking before buying the voucher, but as Bus says he is beautiful enough and doesn't want his spa treatment I get to have 2.
I'm not sure how to take that

We did try but he said that he wouldn't be able to take the pressure........

This is a good point and we have decided that to try to encourage more youngsters (under 16) to experience what we do on the evening so will reduce the ticket price to £30 for any under 16's that come. I appreciate that It is not much but the hotel does not offer this reduction to us and we try to keep the event cost neutral as possible i.e.we do not make money (never seem to) but also not to be too much a drain on club funds.

:!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: UPDATE :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

We have secured Mark Bayliss as our guest at the ACC Dinner for a Q&A session

Mark is the 11th athlete ever to have finished the Enduroman Arch to Arc triathlon and in a record breaking 73hr 39min, without using a wet suit for the swim!. 8)

So if you have any burning questions for him on how he did it this will be your chance (or feel his muscles  )

The evenings menu

There is an option of a vegetarian starter, you just need to let me know who you are before the event.

Yes, no longer will you have to imagine what your clubmates look like with clothes on.

It'll be fun.
