ACC 25 Mile Time Trial 28th April - HELPERS NEEDED

I will be promoting the Addiscombe CC 25 mile open time trial on Sunday 28th April, and your help is needed to ensure we continue to run this highly regarded event to the standard which we are known and respected for.

I need various marshals and event helpers so if you have a special requirement then let me know and I will do my best to accommodate them. For example pushers off and sign on people need to be there very early but are also finished very early, finish time keeper’s assistants have a later start. Below is a list of jobs and the approximate time you need to be in position.

The event starts at 6.30am and the HQ is at Broadbridge Heath, near Horsham. I realise it is an early start but you will be finished early and home before lunch, well before in many cases.

Our event is very well supported and attracts many of the best riders in the South East, it is also regularly praised by riders for the standard of marshalling and support given. There will also be a number of riders from ACC racing for you cheer on to PBs.

This year is a special one; I am running it as a “Centenary 25” with a big promotion push and special prizes on offer. For further details about this and copies of a course map please have a look at the event website - https://sites.google.com/site/accopen25/

I can’t make this happen without your help, so please let me know if you can assist your club to run a great event promotion.

A condition of club membership is to help at one of our promotions during the year, which are the foundation of grass roots racing in Britain, and provide the platform for the next Wiggins, Cavendish etc. so please do your bit to support your cycling club.
All helpers will receive £5 from the club as a contribution to your petrol expenses.
