Lost license

Postby Phil H » Sun May 05, 2013 9:13 pm

We seem to have misplaced Tom's race license. He's entered at Palace on Tuesday (on the internets) and knows his number. Are organisers normally willing to let this pass or do we need to forge one by scanning his old license?

Forge one.
But don't fall for the old trick when the official kindly says "Good luck, Tom", and answer "Thenks orfly".
"Bitte?" is the correct, and safer, response.

New one is on the way. Meanwhile they were impressed enough by Tom's ability to print out a web page to let him race.

Nice evening. Jo Rowsell turned up and raced with the E/1/2s.

Definitely? UKCS photo suggests it could be 3/4 (she used to when I started, but is that much stronger now so wouldn't be suprised!), though confusing, what with all races mixing with each other. Can't find a Strava file!

I get confused too. Not as much as with the juniors but confused anyway. Ah yes, the 3/4s went off second so she would've been with them. Oopsie.

What was it like with the more limited numbers from the pre-entry? Looks like the women's race completely split up (as usual).

Did Rich race? Saw his name on the start sheet...

I reckon she'd 've gone with the e12 if she knew about the 4th cat crashes

Didn't Rich manage to snap his bike in two the other day?

It was his winter bike (or so I heard). If the giant had broken you'd have heard the crying from there.
