I know Tim from the TT scene and he is one of the nicest blokes you could meet.
If you are in the area please support him and give him a big shout.

[quote="Tim Stevens"]Here is what happened with the Fri ride; in the end I managed 9:05. A little disappointing I know, but I am still hoping to nail the sub "9" target in a few weeks to keep my side of the deal and also to thank all of the wonderful people who have helped, have donated and are still donating. Having spent the last five months visiting the Marsden Cancer Hospital...the things I've seen and
people I've met...one thing is clear; riding my bike up Box Hill is a privilege and a pleasure. The funny messages and the generosity
on the fundsite have been humbling.
Tx.

I'm sure he'll get sub-9 soon, Friday would not have been ideal conditions for it as with the hot weather the air is pretty thick for breathing, particularly when doing such a hard effort when he'd be gulping in as much of the stuff as possible.
