Todays ride 22/01/05

What a fantastic ride yet again :D .
Absolutley knacked but still smilling :) .
A Major Number of riders out today concidering the cold and even a few New faces turning up.
The through and off was HIT and Miss in some places. After the Cafe I went with a group of about 16 to that Bloody Boxhill(Again stopped at bottom this time to pull my underwear from a stranger than normal place  ). But saying that the ride back to Coulsdon means I don't have to go up the DRAG therefore enabling me to pull all those through who normally pull me up the Drag. I love the last 2+ mile before Coulsdon as I can really get my wheels turning and my heart rate right up. Thanks for P Brett for relieving me towards the end as I was just beggining to feel the Pain but pulled through. I clocked up 87.29 miles and was very tempted to do a loop on the way home, that carried me over 100 but couldn't be arsed on my own :( .
I will make Boxhill next week without a pause at the bottom :?: :!: .
Have a good week ONE and ALL.

Shame you did not make it for the earlier hilly ride, you would have loved it as it was great.

Cheers

Marek
I didn't feel as if I would have had enough recovery time inbetween the hills. And I wouldn't want to have failed myself. But i'm glad you all had a GREAT ride.

Thanks for the tip Rob.
But the recovery is from lack of fitness and strength not fuel intake?
