Anyone seen the new Liquigas Bianchi kit on cyclingnews.com?
The question: Does it beat Phonak for "ugliest pro kit award 2005"?

I'd second that Rob....although he is pushing his luck with this one (and don't forget his mullett and red shoes phase!).
I still think Phonak are ahead, but check out the Domina 'palm tree' ensemble. Who said Italians are sylish? No wonder Ivan looks depressed!!

Cofidis also manage to muck up an (IMHO) acceptable colour combo with a great big eighties holiday sun thing http://www.cyclingnews.com/photos/2005/ ... 6/IMG_9393

Agree - Phonak still away in the lead

your cycling fashion correspondent writes:

well, it's difficult to look cool when you've got a great big ad for a french dial-a-loan outfit, or even a swiss hearing aid manufacturer, on your chest, hat, socks and arse.

You can always get an idea of a teams finances by their kit. The cheapo teams have to hunt around for a lot of small sponsors, so have to fit lots of logos onto their kit, which consequently ends up looking like a dogs dinner.

Holy Moly, Tonton Tapis...I pass one of their shops here in Martinique almost everyday.

I'm waiting for the company next door to sponsor a team....

FANNY DECOR...the shop is pink too!

I think I'll put a photo up for proof.

i've just watched "a sunday in hell" - 1976 paris roubaix - and i'm very tempted to get one of these Brooklyns:

Unfortunately the Molteni is out of stock.

Been spending the winter on ebay adding some classics to the collection, got a great 80s Colnago, nothing like as bad as their bike colour schemes

There's also a second hand shop in Monmouth St (covent Garden) that has loads of original 60's/70's/80's cycling tops.
