Greetings from Madrid

Been here since Sunday, when I managed to catch the last stage of the Vuelta after I´d checked into my hotel. After the run in to Madrid they did a couple of laps of the world road race course. There´s an "interesting" finish to say the least - fly downhill on one side of a dual carriageway to a hairpin bend, then uphill sprint for 600m to the finish. Amazingly, they all managed to get round in one piece.

Monday & Tuesday were spent sightseeing, wining & dining.

Today was the womens & mens under 23 time trials, and tomorrow is the elite mens TT. Come on Bradley Wiggins!

That´s all for now. It´s 10.15pm and now I have to go for a cerveza or dos (they do things late here).
