Etape for a Novice!

Postby Ossie Assem » Wed Sep 28, 2005 3:55 pm

Dear All

I have heard there is a wealth of experience, not to mention weary legs from taking on L'Etape!

I am planning to ride in the 2006 Etape.

In the next month or so, Etape packages are going to be sold at a rate of knots, and there are a great number of operators who will be selling these.

Can anyone who has ridden in L'Etape before provide me with any recommendations on operators.

If you have ANY other advice on how I can secure a place on L'Etape, I would be most grateful.

Thanks very much
Ossie

Try doing a search or posting an enquiry for 'etape' on http://www.cyclingplus.co.uk or else try http://www.etape.org.uk. Myself, Ajay and a few other ACC members will be doing the 2006 etape with 'teamworld' (an international group of cyclists). Luckily for us all the planning, logistics and accomadation is masterfully organised by the team boss. So, in effect, all we have to do is turn up with money and bikes a few days before the event. Good luck
