its actually a medical condition often bought on by people interested in expensive sports, these people spend all of their money on a new bike with only the meagrest of funds left, so its often a case of choosing between race entry or paying for parts that need replacing, see one good tyre means 2or3 races, whats the good if you got a tyre and no race?

Personally I think he's being a bit of a blouse going for spokes.
In my day a bit of varnished pine cut out with a jig with a peg in the middle was good enough. And if you were posh you could have the corners rounded off.
