Ride tomorrow? (Sun 8th)

Postby sylv » Sat Jan 07, 2006 5:32 pm

I too chickened out this morning so have decided to ride tomorrow whatever the weather. In fact I'd rather it snowed than rained.

Planning on a long-ish and if possible hilly route, leaving around 9am.

I haven't got the best knowledge of routes, so if it's just me or with people that don't either, I'll be doing the extended clubrun (via dual carriageway and Box Hill) circa 100km from Croydon). But open to other offers ie Surrey Hills and such.

Anyone?

Sylv- we are going out on sunday and doubtless we can do some of the surrey hills so you can stretch your legs and wait for us at the top. we aim to leave the feathers at merstham at around 10.30, so join us if you like, in fact anyone can ride with us , it would be cool if anyone said they were coming so we could wait for them if they were late.

Ok Ian, I'll be there.

The Feathers, that's the pub we go past before that left corner on the clubrun, right?

Ian will see you tomorrow at the Feathers 10.30. Light rain forecast for tomorrow, even so I think it will be better than this morning.

Yep the big green pub just over the motorway bridge as you come into Merstham.

Sunday rides out of the Question for me until April as my son Conor has started playing RUGBY and his training/matches are on sundays. But from April until September there are no matches therfore I get all the summer Sunday rides to go on.

Have fun and hope the weather stays dry.

Nick.

Guys, I might now be doing a mtb ride to Dorking, so if I'm not there please don't wait for me.

I'm going to be there, having bottled out today, gone back to bed and regretted it. See you there
