Farewell MR FALLON: Da Man

Postby Toks » Sun Jan 08, 2006 6:59 pm

Hey Rob I don't think I'm gonna see you before you head stateside so I just wanna wish you all the best for the future: both in your personal and cycling career. I think you've been a great member of this club and a real inspiration. Some thought that you'd never pull it off, but your idea to organise last summers road race was a real touch of genius. Perhaps with the help of others I'll try emulate your efforts and help organise the 2006 Addiscombe club road race. I know 2005 hasn't been the best year for you especially considering that you experienced first hand the death of your coach and friend John Ibbotson; despite this you've remained a generous, motivational guy and of course a wacky forum poster - every cycling club needs a Rob Fallon so hats off to you mate. All the best Toks
P.S. Did ya win it then?

Yeah, I`d like to secong that Toks-I`ve enjoyed Rob`s company since he was a junior. It was obvious he was going to be a good rider. all he needed was some discipline, and that has obviously come with experience.
All the best Rob, keep in touch via Forums , e-mail, etc.

All the best Rob, your training bike is sitting down stairs at my office, and my colleague is planning his first training ride for this evening on it and is soon to join the Sat club run.

PS are you planning to come back in the year, and give us all a trashing in some races?
