Hi All,

Spoke to Young Peter on Saturday and felt real sorry for him. He crashed his bike last week and, as it's his only bike, won't be able to go for a ride until he saves up enough money to buy a new one.

If anyone has a hack bike to fit a 6ft 1 bloke (c.58cm) and are willing to lend it to him for a few weeks, could they post a reply on here?

I think my road bike's a 56cm Basso (I'll measure it tonight) with 9 speed Ultegra - I'd be prepared to sell it to him for cheap - like about Â£280 then I could buy Sylv's Sunn off him without getting murdered by Josie.

My brother's old steel frame Dawes Giro. It's not v light or particularly well equipped...but that is fine as it will handicap Pete nicely.

He can borrow for free for as long as he likes. Not sure of frame size but my bruv is about 6ft so should be fine.

Marco - Would this be too big for me (5'11)? I'm thinking about putting together a fixed bike for work.
