Get Well Soon Jackie!

Postby Toks » Mon Feb 20, 2006 11:52 am

I was told on Saturday that Jackie Morgan-Smith had broken her leg after colliding with a car. I'm not sure of the details but apparently she's still in hospital. I just want to wish her all the best and speedy recovery.

Oh no!! How much bad luck can one rider have???? Get well soon Jackie. You will be the comeback queen and all the work you put in over the winter will not go to waste as I'm sure it will contribute to a full and speedy recover.

Jackie, get well soon,

Remember the first time you went to Mallorca with ACC, Paul (the Australian) had a broken leg, did the whole week just using one leg and still beat most of us.

So see you out next week or so..............

Really sorry to hear this news Jackie. Let us know how you are and if there is anything that can be done to help. Missed you at Mallorca this year but hope that you are well enough for your planned trip.

Best wishes

Why is it these things always happen when riders are going so well? Jackie's been absolutely flying all winter and I was sure she was up for a great early season. All the best for a speedy recovery and quick return.

I contacted Jackie last night. She seems in good spirits. At the moment she is on crutches for 6 weeks and then hopes to be back on the bike. I'm sure her fitness will help her recovery.
