Bike Stolen

Postby George » Fri Mar 03, 2006 6:03 pm

Hello All

Unfortunatly between 2 and 3 in the afternoon yesterday in Westminster someone nicked my bike. I padlocked it to a bicycle parking rack, went outside to check upon it and to my disbelief it plus padlock was gone.

Description

Blue, Fort RO 7005 training frame, with ultegra groupset,
rear pannier rack, Selle italia saddle, ritchie seatpost and pro stem and bars.

Here are a couple of pictures just incase you see it around:

I'm a bit pissed off , but to look on the bright side at least I wasn't involved in an accident!

So Consequently I won't be able out on the CR whilst all the insurance stuff is getting sorted.

Has anyone in the club got a road bike that I could buy off them or borrow for a while, it would be really handy??
It would be alot nicer than riding my thick knobblie tyred mountain bike to London and back everyday

Thanks

George :(

Stolen bikes often end up in a London market on Sundays.

Is it Brick Lane? Can anyone confirm?
