Easter Monday (17th April) Mountainbike ride

Postby Grahame » Mon Apr 10, 2006 1:38 pm

So, anybody fancy going for a mountainbike ride for a change?

Where?

What time?

How long?

Are all up for grabs, but somewhere local is preferable. Maybe the old tradition of 10am at ECBR.

Anyway, my thought is to do an "introduction to mountainbiking" for those more road-oriented club members. I have a few mountainbikes that I could lend to club members for the day. They are good quality machines, and sized to fit those between about 5'6" and 6'.

Let me know if you are interested, and if you want to borrow a bike.

Marco - the underwhelming response has led me to rethink this. I'm now committed to going out to the Chilterns for a "sociably paced" ride with a group of friends (including Anne Brown - queen of the slackers).

There's a lift available if you want to come.
