Hi All,

On Tuesday 2nd May, ACC will once again be promoting a round of the Crystal Palace Circuit League and you can guess what?s coming next??..yep, we need marshalls!

As marshalling duties go, this one is pretty straightforward with no vehicles to deal with. However, we still need approximately 20 people to keep an eye on walkers, dogs, ducks or anything else that could get in the way of the riders, and any incidents that may occur. You will need to be in the park at 6pm prompt, but will be finished by 9pm at the very latest.

As this is a local race, I hope we get as good a turn out as last year and, whilst I can?t bribe you with a promise of a free brunch (or supper), I can assure you that you will have a laugh, get to see some good racing and have the chance to wear a lovely luminous bib in public, something we all wish we could do more often.

So please post your acceptance replies here or send an email to: david.lombari@accorservices.co.uk

I think it goes without saying, but I?ll say it anyway?.ACC has one of the biggest memberships in UK cycling but always seem to struggle to get people helping out at races, and often it?s the same old (and young) faces. So please show some responsibility and support the club when it really needs you.

Thanks for listening.
David.

Cheers Sylv, good point. If any of you volunteers could bring a broom, it would be appreciated as the track surface does tend to be covered in debris at this time of year.

Ah poo! I 'm invigilating an exam until 5:15pm in Chatham, so the earliest I can possibly get there is about 7pm.

I'll send you a text to explain.

I hope I can still help.
