Baby Rabbits - Good Homes Needed

Postby Tamar Collis » Tue May 02, 2006 2:47 pm

I bought a new rabbit 3 weeks ago as company for my lop-eared bun.

But it turns out she (quite literally) had 'buns in the oven' as she produced a litter of 6 this morning!

They'll be ready to go to new homes in early July - if you think you can give a good home to one or two then pm me or have a chat with me on the club run.

Rabbits make v good house-pets so a garden is not a pre-requisite.

Does a casserole dish count as a good home?

Would you eat it if I cooked it? Surrounded by photos of them hopping about looking cute?

(not that they look v cute at the moment - more bald, wrinkled and maggoty-looking)

Which reminds me of the classic party I had when I was 17/18 and my folks went away and left me in charge of 2 labradors and my sister's rabbit.....long story, but the rabbit died and the corpse was used to great effect to offend the vegetarians.

That was the badger, not the rabbit.
