tyre problems on campag scirocco wheels

I know quite a few ACCers use the Sciroccos like me. Anyway I've always used Conti - Ultrasport, GP3000s and Gatorskins - in the past but decided to put on a set of Michelin Pro Races (in yellow and black of course).

Hell of a job getting them on and having tested getting them off again have decided that can't risk being left high and dry with snapped tyre levers on the club run.

So what do you use on the Sciroccos (or Zondas, Ventos, etc which I guess have similar rim design)? Guess the GP4000s are a good bet?

The Pro Races are for sale - 1 ride, 23mm, 15 quid the pair.

Always had GP3000s on my Ventos. Switched tyres about a bit over winter as I used old ones on the turbo trainer, and it was always pretty quick to get the GPs off and on again. Good puncture resistance although I've found they cut quite easily, just make sure you check and remove flints etc regularly. Guess GP4000s would behave similarly.

Got Pro Race's on my new wheels now so fingers crossed when I need to get them off :)
