Valverde could do well but I think his long distance time trialling might let him down for the top spot.
Hincapie's a tricky one to call as he's done well before but it's different riding hard to the end of mountain stages than knowing you'll be able to coast in from half way up.
Zabriske, hmmm, dark horse? Probably struggle in the mountains but with 2 long TTs he's bound to make up a fair wedge of time in those. Also CSC might put their weight behind Julich.
My money's on Landis for the win. Not sure about Levi as he always looked like a so-so rider but rode well in the dauphine. Not even mentioned Salvodelli, Kloden...Moreau looked good in the Dauphine as well but might concentrate on the KoM if he doesn't feel he'll last the distance in GC.
Could be a very open Tour, and looking at today's 1st stage with Hincapie sprinting for bonus seconds at an intermediate to get yellow, the riders themselves have no idea who's going to finish where. Odd finish as well as all the top sprinters ended up at the front too early and looked around in panic.
