Return of the nightride

The weekday-racing season is over, leaving us with time and energy for our mid-week off-road rides again. The days are getting shorter but the weather is still summery, which is ideal.

The idea would be to meet at East Croydon station at 8pm on a Wednesday evening, and head South for a 1h-1h30 ride on familiar, not-too-technical trails. Good headlights are requested, as you won't be going very far off-road with commuting LEDs.

Sylvian, 8pm meeting what is the total time there anf back (does the 1-1.5 hours include getting to the trails?). I have a rigid MTB and good lumicycle lights so may be tempted as never done this before (off road night riding)

Yes - we will have to be strict with star times and leave no later than say 8.05pm.

There is a local loop that can be made between 10 and 15 miles and ridden either way, so even allowing for mechanicals we should always be back to ECBR before 10pm.
