It hasn't rained for ages, and the forecast if for, like today, cold but sunny. Time for a mountain bike ride

Usual time and place - ECBR @ 10am, if anyone wants to ride please post here, I'll be checking early morning (if not I won't bother going to the station).

I'll be trying out my singlespeed in its new fixed-gear configuration, so don't expect it to be fast - but expect some comedy crashes.

Well Syl I was due to go on a ride tomorrow on the South Downs, to try out my new On-One. Which, with it's big wheels, Mary bars and black/crome finish, looks like Granny's old shopping bike
but I reckon kicks a$$

Although really, I'd rather go on a local ride first (as long as you don't get too close to me with your crazy bike ) so that I can get used to a ridged bike before going tearing downhill on the South Downs.

I need to be sure a rides on by 8 am tomorrow, otherwise I'll take 8.15 train to be in sussex in time for the South Downs ride

Whats the pace and length of these rides like? Been out on a few of the road rides but not these.
