On a similar topic - just read about Beastway racer (and old schoolmate of mine) Ian Leitch's ride from bottom of S America to top of N America

Elliot I've been in touch with Ian since I also saw his website, he is back and in Brixton. He and some friends were doing a ride in the peaks, but it's the same weekend as ACC diner for which I've already commited. We'll have to arrange a Leith Hill ride sometime (John "the man in green" has also threatened to come along).

Ian got 16th in the Worlds solo 24h recently.

I've been talking to Joel about doing a similar kind of trip in America!
