Tool for stuck spokes

I know there exists such a tool but cannot find it on the web: it's like a screwdriver with a slot in the middle so that you can thread/unthread spokes from the outer rim side rather than with a spoke key.

I have a wheel where the spokes are stuck in the nipples (the hub ends are straight, so the hole spoke/nipple ensemble keeps turning together with a spoke key), if someone has such a tool I'd be glad to borrow it to see if I can get them unstuck (the wheel is buckled). Thanks.

try a few drops of WD40 (or other penetrating oil) on each nipple and leave them for a day or two, then try again with the spoke key.

The trouble is, they then bind again after a few months of use. So I'd be tempted to get replacement spokes and cut the old ones out, then put some grease on the threads of the replacements before assembly.

Marek, that is a tool for the nipple type that I have on my Dura Ace wheels - not what I meant.

Grahame, I have tried the oiling thing without success. The spokes go through the nipple all the way so I can't use a simple screwdriver to do what I was saying.

The wheel is a Mk I Crossmax (system wheels as you love them ...), so finding and replacing spokes is not straightforward. But it's in decent condition otherwise so it's annoying not being able to use it. If someone had this tool I would have expected it to be you!

Failing that I have some old screwdrivers lying around. maybe one of them can be modified to suit? It needs a slot in the middle of the blade for the end of the spoke to sit in, yes?
