Free Book number 3!!

Postby Matthew Ives » Wed Jan 10, 2007 11:02 am

Hi,

Just finished reading "Flying Scotsman - The Graeme Obree Story".

If anyone wants it, just let me know and I'll post it off.
I must say it's a great read. It really is a brutally honest account of a really talented cyclist. Some of the things he admits to in his book must have taken great courage to speak about. It's by far the best cycling book I've ever read and if anyone has suffered from depression or just feeling down, then you'll instantly empathise with the guy.

EDIT: "The Cyclist's Training Bible" is still a available, if anyone wants it.

Hi Matthew

I'd be interested in this if it's still available. Let me know if it is and I'll pm you my address.

Cheers

It arrived safely today, Matthew - thanks.

Reading the first couple of pages, I get the distinct impression that it's unlikely to be a laugh riot...

Will pass on to Grahame next.

Not till at least the second half if at all .. borrowed it from Andrew and that’s about where I left it a month ago.

Well, I recently made it through another (loosely) cycling-related chuckle-fest, A Voice Through A Cloud by Denton 'tell us another' Welch, so I feel confident that I'm up to the challenge
