Priya Kaur Khandelwal was born on Tuesday morning at home at 9.30. Weighing 3.14 kilos - clearly some top of the range componentry ! We are thrilled and Ninder and baby are really well and sleeping as I write this. Do we have any ACC baby grows? How old before she can start working out on the turbo... :D?

Congratulations.

Why not fit some cranks to the cot so that she can start pedalling from the lying down position?

Congratulations, I reckon at about 6 months you can start to get them to interact a bit, I got my little girl to lay on her back and make a cycling motion at about this age I think, maybe 9 months.

You can then get them training by the age of about 1 to 1.5. Buy a bike with Stabilisers and then put the stabilisers on bricks. They can then cycle away without going anywhere and you can give advice on pedal motion etc.

I am not sure what age to move them up to drop bars and clip in pedals. My little girl is four now and she has a pair of cycling shorts and a top, although I think she needs a new bike soon, go into Evans AJ, they have some really small kit.

Good luck Ajay.

Cheers

Marek.....

Congratulations Ajay, quick start looking for nurseries and primary schools the time will fly by before you now it  And I think the best gap between sibling is 2-3 years if you were wondering.  If you're wondering you can fit a child seat in some trailers or buy trailers with specific fittings for a baby, london isn't great for a trailer although we used to go to Dulwich park with the bikes and trailer from the top of westwood hill and you can carry all the baby gear in it. Once they can hold up their heads (6mths-9mths) you can pop them in a child seat and get in some training!

Congratulations to you both, although that should probably now be to the three of you from now on. Hope you are all well and happy, I will need tips and advice as ours is due on the 11th of Feb, (by that I mean training advice for the baby). Now where can I find miniature addiscombe jerseys.
