It is the World Champs, I videod it off Eurosport (Tuesday when I was at work). Hardly showed the women's race but alll of the men's. Fantastic, huge entertainment, amazing speed, great course (to watch, I wouldn't have wanted to ride it - it had 3 staircases, a sandpit and slimy mud!)
Why don't they show the Cross World Cup races if this is what pro races are like, they make great TV.

All the world championship races were shown live on t'internet on cycling.tv Don't know whether they've been showing the worlc cup races too.

There's a great photo on cyclingnews.com of one of the Belgian women riding up a muddy hill right alongside the barriers. One of the spectators is leaning over the barrier to either a) give a helpfull push up the hill, or b) have a sneaky feel of her bum.
