TLI?

I have noticed this before in CW, but what is TLI? It is listed in the whats on bit of road races sometimes?

They're good races too - usually the same riders as you'd get in a regional race like a Surrey or Kent league but its much chepaer. They're very pro active in encouraging older racers and have a much better age categorising system than BC wherby you race against others in a similar age bracket

The League International, aka LVRC (vets).
You do need to join, but it is a small fee (£10 I think), and turn up and race.

I have nothing against them (I am a member), but:

Please bear in mind that they do not have the same level of insurance cover as BC, they get away with the absolute minimum, they do not have to meet any minimum race safety requirements, and for those reasons promote mainly on closed circuits.

They don't put anything back into the sport, nor do you get BC points.

With the demise of Eastway they will not be doing much this year.
