Well done to the Evening Standard

Maybe there's not much news at the moment but the Evening Standard has just given over it's front page to a campaign for better cycling facilites in London.

Certainly exposes the myth "safe cycle lanes" and brings these issues out of the cycling press and into the mainstream.

Yes, it brings cycling into the mainstream but despite exposing so-called 'safe cycle lanes' the ES charter is still calling for more cycle lanes and "PROPER SEGREGATION"

What we need is better integration and a greater acceptance of our right to be on the road and not channelled into some narrow lane where if we venture out.... not to mention stray pedestrians, all the junk and glass....

Everything else seems OK but cycle lanes just get me going...
