My first 10 TT (unofficial)

Postby Nick » Fri Jun 15, 2007 6:52 pm

Went out this afternoon to try my first attempt at a 10 TT.

I did have a small amount of tailwind some of the way but I managed an incredable time of 26.50 :D :D without tri bars.

I was so shocked I almost fell off maybe due to the fact a was totally exhausted...but it took over 33 minutes for the return after a 20 minute break.

Has given me an incentive now to try the club evening 10's but I am more than sure I'll never get that time again.....

Good stuff! So what you waiting for? You'll never know if you can beat it unless you try

Good time Nick, did you use the Holmwood course or did you just do a 10 mile straight run?

The Holmwood course isn't flat and as an out and back if you get a tailwind, it'll be a headwind at some point

Give it a go, they're just a bit of fun. You're a bit of a power house so could do a good time, although you've let everyone know now so Jon might be tight with your handicap.

Toks - when are you going to try for your target (I haven't forgotten your "goal" :) ). Paul, George, and now Adam have all stamped their mark for the road racers alliance.
