An illustrated history of Herne Hill Stadium - 1891 to 2007

From Chris and John watts[quote]ACC Life Member John Watts has completed an illustrated history of Herne Hill Stadium - 1891 to 2007. This is not an account of the riders though some appear to illustrate particular events, but is an insight as to how and why the stadium came into existence, its management and its maintenance. John decided that Herne Hill, being the oldest extant track in the country, should have its history recorded and he has spent three years researching the details. If anyone is interested the A4 book is available from him for £5, plus 90p pp.

I should mention to you that the first copy was sold to someone who writes for 'London Cyclist' and John has received a very complimentary response. Being the typist I have been rather busy lately but can now get back to the ACC history
