[quote]We should organise a ride to this. Brighton it may not be, but could be a good way to recruit more newbies

We could go VIA Brighton though....

Hi all

I'm a relative newcomer to ACC. I've been on a few club runs and looking to do more soon.

I'm registered for the Freewheel event but it is now full. I want my girlfriend to come along as she's just gettin into cycling. Does anybody have or know of any spare spaces going?

Is anyone registered but not able to go. I'd be happy to pay a reasonable price or make a small donation to the club by way of thanks.

Cheers

Matt

Thanks Elliot - I'm sure I can sneak her in.

Do you know much about the organisation then?

Stick her on the back of a tandem and say you assumed you wouldn't need to register a stoker :) .

She is a bonny lass. But she can sure stoke too!

She's a kickboxer so i try not to upset her too much.

Nice tribute to 'La Huq' Sean, but I'll settle for Emily Maitlis or (and!!??) Suzy Perry....more my age group!

Got VIP pass for this (OK not the same as ToB  but a great networking opp for me work wise) and I can't make it. Typical. Grrrr  All those going along have a good one.

I'll be riding up with Louise from West Norwood via Peckham hub, probably wear ACC jersey for easy identification. NB I contacted the organisers and sending out packs has been delayed but they expect them delivered today, but they implied it didn't really matter.

I think with good weather this could be absolutely massive, I'm thinking it might be solid bikes all the way from each hub into town?
