Thanks for the recommendation Marco, i work in this area and have heard about them but never got out on a ride with them.

The ride this weekend to Mudchute Farm on the Isle of Dogs definantly looks interesting and a good oppurtunity to get away from the familiar routes out of Croydon.

I could easily see myself going this weekend if nothing else pops up.

Hey Marco - thanks for the big plug! We'd be happy to see anybody who fancies a change of pace. We're nice and slow and very suitable for families although we get all sorts. The best description I ever heard of us was that we are 'ordinary people on bikes'! We've got pensioners in tweed suits on old Raleighs, ladies in flowing summer dresses on city bikes and old racers who've slowed down in their new lycra tops.

Rides rarely exceed 30 miles and we're out all day, meandering from cafe to pub to cafe but always using the best cycle routes we can find. We're probably the biggest leisure rides group in South London but we've got a way to go before we get numbers like you guys get!

If the webmaster is reading, can you change our link on your homepage to http://www.pollardshillcyclists.org.uk

Cheers!
Mark
