Hi all,
Just to warn you that, when I was returning home from Wednesday's 40+ ride,
I was deliberately knocked off my bike.
I had turned into the lane adjacent to The Spinning Wheel and just prior to
turning left towards Downe village, I heard someone
Shouting "Get out the way" "Get out the way".
As I turned left a dark metallic grey Astra (I think it was), pulled
alongside and quite literally, using the side of the car, pushed me
into the left hand bank. Fortunately I escaped with minor grazes to my
elbow, knee and hip. Unfortunately, as it all happened so suddenly,
I was unable to note the registration of the vehicle. The car sped away, as
I was picking myself up from the road and was quickly too far off
to read the number plate. There were two people in the car. I saw a police
car in someone's driveway further down the lane and reported the incident
but I don't think there is any hope of catching the two culprits without
witnesses or the registration number.

BEWARE if you are in the area of any dark grey metallic cars probably Astras
or possibly Peugeot. Characters like these often repeat their antics.
One can only hope that something nasty happens to them.
