[quote] A-team airstrip and crazy downhill

I think I know where you mean. It's a good route, it flows well, covers a lot of ground and is not too technical (apart from that one section). I did something similar last weekend (except the air-strip and the downhill) on cross bike. Unfortunately I'm in Ireland this weekend.

I was just about to ask if I can come out to play. Get some practice on the bike before the ACC CX at HH.

Finally got some pedals and shoes, so I'll fit them and give the bike a once over tonight. Might need to blag an experienced hand to check the forks have the right amount of bounce/rebound/whatever, only a knob turn but I'm not sure what they should be set like.

Do you need to be a crazy fool to ride the A Team airstrip? :D

Time Budget

Postby EdO » Fri Nov 09, 2007 3:25 pm

Marco,
Don't suppose you have any ideas how long Sunday's ride might take and what time you plan to get back to EC.
I should be able to make once I've okay'd it with the wife.

Hopefully see you there.

That's cool. I think I've got away with not being accountable until 3pm.

See you at EC 10am.

Looked at report, going to be raining a bit before 9 but will then dry out. See you at EC for 10. Went and watched a bit of the Ballbuster today, great cycling over there. Really looking forward to it.

Andrew, if you want to meet up and cycle over to EC send me a PM.

not bad after all

Postby EdO » Sun Nov 11, 2007 5:15 pm

cheers for the ride today guys. Really enjoyed it especially after the rain went away.

Sorry for pushing on but I was meant to be in brick lane over an hour ago for some curry and culture.

Marco hopefully you only ended up having 6 punctures today but that's still more than I've had in the last two years commuting every day.
