New style forum

I don't know about anybody else but I'm struggling with the new style forum, once I'm in a topic then it is ok but it is the main screen that feels not as 'friendly' as the previous version. Not sure what it is - colours (is it too blue?), text, highlighting, graphics - I can't put my finger on it. Marco I know that you have spent a lot of effort on this and there may not be any options available.

Sometimes things are like new phones and just take a bit of time to get used to but I haven't as yet.

So read is blue and unread is red, right? So if you "mark as read" that makes them blue, but if you "mark as red" they're red? Huh :?:

Marco

Hi. How do you sort the board to get the most recent posts first???? Tried just about everything I can think of.

Thanks

Huh? That's the default? Most recent at the top... underneath the "sticky" topics.

Might wanna have a look at this for information on styles and themes.
http://www.phpbb.com/support/documentat ... section3_4

If we don't already have a default yellow and black theme we could always create one if anyone is any good at CSS / hacking some .tpl files (that's cascading style sheets not to be confused with a certain railway station). Marco I take it you dev LAMP environment that you try this out on ?

BTW are we on phpbb v 2?

It appears to be phpbb v3, just installed in a phpBB2 location.
