Surrey League Revolutions - Anyone Able to Help?

Postby Tony » Wed Aug 13, 2003 9:31 pm

Ok - so I've decided to torture myslef and ride the Surrey League 5-day revolutions. This is the biggest stage race in the UK this year. Pleasingly the GB squad have decided to give it a miss - so the pace may be a little more bearable that it otherwise might have been.

Is anyone planning to spectate any of the stages? First stage starts on Friday 15th at 12:00. Course details are on the Surrey League website http://www.surreyleague.co.uk (see the link to the Revolutions) - along with estimated times when the bunch will be passing.

I'm looking for some help with bottles. In longer races, you can't carry enough liquid to race for 100miles in the heat and still be competitive. If you're planning to spectate and would be able to help, please let me know. Maybe you've got a spotty tenager that needs to get some fresh air and could do with a bit more pocket money????????? We may be able to work something out.

Post a reply if so - or call me if you know my number (don't want to stick it on the BB). Happy cycling.

Hi Tony, sorry I didn't see this earlier otherwise I could have offered my services for the Saturday. Good luck for the rest of the race, I see you're hanging in there.
